Croom - Patterson
Andrea R. Patterson and Scott E. Croom were married May 10, 2008 in Morning Glory Inn, South Side of Pittsburgh, by Rev. Larry Goyda.
The bride is a daughter of Curtis and Carolyn Patterson, Grove City.
Parents of the groom are Clay and Frances Croom, Raleigh, N.C.
The bride wore a princess-cut Casablanca tulle gown, featuring a dropped waist, chapel-length train and multi-colored embroidery; and a matching waist-length veil with pearl-beaded headpiece. She carried a bouquet of white daisies and pink roses.
Heather L. Geaslen, bride’s sister, Milton, N.H., was matron of honor. Erin Frisbie of Springfield, Mass., was a bridesmaid. They wore strapless, empire waist gowns in pink chiffon and carried bouquets of white daisies.
The bride’s niece, Iris Patterson of Pittsburgh, was flower girl.
Kevin Croom, groom’s brother from Raleigh, served as best man.
The bride’s brother, Dr. Kevin Patterson, read “On Marriage” by Edmund O’Neill.
William Patterson, bride’s nephew from Pittsburgh, was the ring bearer.
A reception followed at the inn.
After a honeymoon to Las Vegas and Zion National Park, the newlyweds live in Dallas, Texas.
Mrs. Croom is a 2003 graduate of Grove City High School and a 2006 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She is working toward a doctoral degree in clinical psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.
Her husband graduated from Cave Spring High School in 2000 and from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004, with a bachelor’s degree in computer science. He is a Web master for Mary Kay Inc.
