Resele - Flick
Lauren Resele and Brian Flick were married Aug. 23, 2003, in St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Conneaut Ohio, by the Rev. David Bridling of Jos Nigeria.
The bride is the daughter of Paul and Paula Resele of Newark, Del.
Local grandparents are Arlene Snyder and the late Paul Snyder; and Robert and Mary Ruth Resele, all Hermitage.
Bridegroom parents are Keith and Joy Flick, Lima, Ohio; and Lou Ann Flick, Toledo, Ohio.
Maid of honor was Chloe Resele, Flagstaff, Ariz., bride's sister. Bridesmaids were Curtina Beblo, Greenville: Crystal Kinsman, Michigan; and Karri Iverson, North Dakota.
Joe Dailey, Lima, was best man. Groomsmen were Greg Lowden, Toledo, groom's cousin; and Aaron Resele, Transfer, bride's brother.
Flower girl was Sydney Resele, Orangeville, Ohio, bride's cousin. Jason Flick, Lima, groom's brother, was ring bearer.
A reception was held at Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge, Port of Conneaut, followed by a beach party.
An alumnus of Reynolds High School, Mrs. Flick is on active duty in the U.S. Navy as a petty officer aboard the U.S.S. Fletcher.
Her husband, who is a graduate of Toledo Technical Academy, is also a petty officer in the Navy, attached to Amphibious Construction Battalion One out of Coronado, Calif.
Mr. and Mrs. Flick both returned from Operation Iraqi Freedom in mid-July, where she served aboard a destroyer and he served with the Maritime Prepositioning Force in Kuwait. They are based in San Diego and make their home in Spring Valley, Calif.
