Snider - Baxter
Howard and Susan Snider of Monroeville announce the marriage of their daughter, DeAnn, to Nicholas Baxter, son of Douglas and Merilee Baxter and Joel and Sharon Sutkins of Montoursville.
The couple was united on June 22, 2003, in Penn Hills. The bride is a 1999 graduate of Gateway High School and a 2003 graduate of Penn State University. The groom is a 1999 graduate of Montoursville Area High School and 2003 graduate of Penn State University.
The Rev. Dr. Charles Heaps and Rabbi Elliot Burk officiated the ceremony.
The maid of honor was Mindy Snider, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Boughton, sister of the groom, Amy Snider, sister-in-law of the bride, and Kathy Eckhardt, friend of the bride.
Cara Sutkins, sister of the groom, was flower girl. Hanna Boughton, niece of the groom, was ring bearer. The best man was Doug Baxter, brother of the groom.
Ushers were Mike Boughron, brother-in-law of the groom, Bill Snider, brother of the bride, and Eric Baxter, brother of the groom.
DeAnn is the granddaughter of Wilma and the late Harry Shlakman and the late Mildred and Dan Snider of Pittsburgh.
Nicholas is the grandson of Charles and Georgia Heaps and Lillian and the late Douglas Baxter of Montoursville.
The couple honeymooned in Florida.
They now reside in Los Angeles.
