Bryce Alexander Hampton, along with his grandparents, Charles and Jeannie Spires of Frankford and John and Jane Hampton of Hannibal, has announced the engagement of his parents, Amanda Nichole Spires to John Wesley Hampton Jr.

The prospective bride is a 1999 graduate of Bowling Green High School and is employed as a correctional officer at Northeast Correctional Center.

The prospective bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Hannibal High School and is also employed as a correctional officer at Northeast Correctional Center.

The wedding is planned for June 2004 at the home of Charles and Jeannie Spires.
