Roper - Hood
Miss Tara Tennille Roper and Bradley Wayne Hood were married December 12, 1998 in a 3 p.m. ceremony at the Webster Chapel Baptist Church.
Parents of the couple are Dwight and Vicki Roper of Jacksonville and Bob and Freida Hood of Ohatchee.
The Rev. Blane Tidwell performed the ceremony and music was provided by Dwight Roper (the bride’s father), David Roper, Elaine Tatham and Sandra Pock.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a white satin Cinderella style gown dotted with pearls and beads. Her veil of illusion fell from a Camelot headpiece accented with pearls. Her bouquet featured white roses with satin ribbons that cascaded into love knots.
Miss Jamie Lynn English was maid of honor and the bridesmaids were Lacey Bradley, Danielle Morgan and Missy Almaroad. Katie Roper and Lindsay Holtbrook were flower girls.
Bob Hood, father of the groom, served as best man. The groomsmen were Robert Hood, Jason Hood and Ashley Roper. Clint Roper was the ring bearer.
Immediately following the ceremony, Mr. and Mrs. Roper entertained with a reception at the Jacksonville State University International House. After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, the young couple will make their home in Jacksonville.
