Moses and Jessie Barrow of Troy announce the engagement of their daughter, Becky Newby, to Vincent Lampley, the son of Ola Lampley of Troy and Elder James B. "Sonny" Glover of Brundidge.
The bride-to-be is also the daughter of the late Sammie Newby.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late B.W. and Lessie M. Wheeler.
She is a graduate of Charles Henderson High School in Troy and is currently employed by AT&T; in Atlanta.
The future groom is the grandson of Delma Lampley of Brundidge and the late G.W. Lampley and the late Lucille Glover and Leo Pryor.
He is a graduate of Pike County High School in Brundidge and is currently employed by ProChem and Rich's - Macy's in Alpharetta, Ga.
The wedding will be at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 21, 2004, at First Missionary Baptist Church in Troy.
