Mr. and Mrs. Don Davis of Troy announce the engagement of their daughter, Robin Davis, to Scott Thames of Excel, Ala., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Bush Thames of Frisco City, Ala.
The bride-elect is a 1996 graduate of Charles Henderson High School. She attended Troy State University and is a 2002 graduate of the Florida Institute of Ultrasound with a degree in diagnostic medical sonography. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Willie Mae Hobbs of Troy and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Crout of Forest, Miss.
The prospective groom is a 1995 graduate of Monroe Academy and he attended Troy State University. He is currently employed by Bush Thames Logging, Inc. He is the grandson of Mrs. Ellie Thames formerly of Frisco City, the late Mr. E.E. Thames of Frisco City and the late Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Copeland of Philadelphia, Miss.
The wedding will be held March 8, 2003 at 2 p.m. at Bush Memorial Baptist Church in Troy.
