Lisa I. Machicote of Jack and Christopher W. Davis of Dothan are pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The couple will be married on May 23, 2003, at 7 p.m. at the Taylor Assembly of God Church in Taylor.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Carlos and Wanda G. Machicote of Elba.
She is the granddaughter of the late J.D. and Pearl Farris of Elba and the late Carlos Machicote and Carmen Machicote of Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
She is a 1988 graduate of Elba High School and a 1992 graduate of Troy State University.
She is presently employed by the Alabama Medicaid Agency as a Medicaid eligibility specialist.
The future groom is the son of Robert and Gayle Davis of Dothan.
He is the grandson of Ethel Davis and the late Clifford C. "Doc" Davis and the late John Wesley and Nell Simmons of Dothan. He is a 1989 graduate of Rehobeth High School and a former Marine. He is presently employed by Dothan Utilities with the City of Dothan.
