The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Eddie Garland Butler, Sr. and the late Mr. Butler of Atmore and the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Luther Ammons, Sr. of Troy.
She is a graduate of Troy State University with a bachelor of science in athletic training.
She is a certified athletic trainer and is employed by HealthSouth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscaloosa.
The future groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Stone of Wilsonville and the later Mr. and Mrs. Randolph Payne of Akron.
He is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a bachelor of science in education.
He also earned a masters degree in education from Samford University.
He is a certified athletic trainer and is employed by HealthSouth Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscaloosa.
A family wedding is planned for June 21, 2003, at the Blue Lake United Methodist Assembly in Andalusia.
