Neuschafer - 50th
Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Neuschafer of Center will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception hosted by their children at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 15, 2004, at the Center Baptist Church in Center.
Doris Jean Cowden and Thomas Darrell Neuschafer were united in marriage on May 16, 1954, at the Olivet Christian Church in Center.
The Rev. John Golden officiated.
Attendants were Mary Lane and Robert A. (Bobby) Palmer, both of Center.
Mrs. Neuschafer is the daughter of the late Guilford and Virginia Cowden.
Mr. Neuschafer is the son of the late Roe and Leona Neuschafer.
They are the parents of three children, Joy Neuschafer of Boonville, Janet Smith and husband, Randy, of Moberly, and Dawn Hardcastle and husband, Danny, of Center.
They have one granddaughter, Jennifer VanHorn; and one great-grandson, Rowan VanHorn, both of Columbia.
Mr. Neuschafer retired from the USPS. He was a rural mail carrier in the New London area.
Mrs. Neuschafer retired from the West View Nursing Home in Center.
Friends and relatives are invited to the reception.
