Mr. and Mrs. Frank X. Converse have returned from a wedding trip to points in southern Wyoming and are making their home at 102, North Twenty-fourth street. The wedding of Mr. Converse, son of Mr. Frank Converse of Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of Billings, and Mrs. Converse, the former Joanne Romania, daughter of Mrs. Joseph Romania, 902 North Nineteenth street, took place recently in St. Patrick's Catholic church with the Rev. C. F. Shea officiating. During the nuptial mass, Miss Doti Vandenberg sang Ave Maria" accompanied by Mrs. Thomas Martin, organist. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Mr. Joseph F. Romania and she wore an ankle length gown of champagne colored Chantilly lace and taffeta, made with a square scalloped neckline and full skirt. Her matching veil of illusion and Alencon lace was held in place by a matching cap. She carried a green orchid encircled with tulle. Her only jewelery was a two-strand pearl necklace, a gift of the bridegroom. Miss Carolyn Romania, sister of the bride and Mr. Maurice J. Converse, brother of the bridegroom, attended the couple. Miss Romania wore a nylon peach-colored ankle length frock and a matching shoulder length veil. She carried Talisman roses. Ushers were Mr. Robert Converse, another brother of the bridegroom and Mr. Richard Carroll. The bride's mother chose a navy blue ensemble with light blue trimming and a gardenia corsage, A wedding breakfast followed in the Northern hotel. Out-of-town guests included Mr. and Mrs. Fred Baumgart and daughters, Rita and Kay of Cody, Wyo., Mrs. Claude Daugherty, Mrs. Leona Baldin and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Minnie, all of Roundup and Miss Gertrude Converse of Long Beach, Calif. Mrs. Converse is a graduate of the Billings senior high school and the Barbizon School of Modeling in New York City. Mr. Converse is a graduate of the Billings senior high school and Notre Dame university and is an army veteran. He is associated with his brothers in business here.
