Maureen Elizabeth Ahearn of Milton and Shawn Albert McMahon of Watertown were married at St. Elizabeth's church in Milton on May 25, 1997.
The bride is the daughter of Eleanor and the late Daniel J. Ahearn Jr. of Milton. She is a 1986 graduate of Milton High School and a 1991 graduate of Bridgewater State College. She is employed as a computer programmer/analyst at Massachusetts Casualty Insurance Co.
The groom is the son of Edward and Janice McMahon of Watertown. He is a 1988 graduate of Watertown High School and a 1992 graduate of Bentley College. He is employed as a relationship administrator at Fidelity Investment.
The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Robert D. Ahearn of Milton. Her sisters, Julie and Carol Ahearn of Milton, were her maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Theresa Ahearn of Milton, Juli McMahon of Watertown, Judi Lombardi of Malden and Kerrie Vacca of Melrose. Flower girl was Ashley Ahearn and ring bearer was Bobby D. Ahearn Jr.
