Fisher - Chisholm
Kristen Elizabeth Chisholm and Michael Winfield Fisher were married on Oct. 16, 1999, at St. Paul's Church in Cambridge. The Rev. Terrence P. Devino, SJ, of Boston College officiated. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the Wellesley Country Club.
The bride is the daughter of Susan R. Chisholm of Wellesley Hills and the late John K. Chisholm and the granddaughter of Dorothea P. Chisholm of Wellesley Hills and the late Harold K. Chisholm. The groom is the son of Barbara J. Fisher of White Haven, Pa., and the late Eugene Francis Bernard Fisher.
Meghan Cooney Newberry of Seattle, Wash., served as matron of honor. Other bridal attendants were Marjorie Rose Fisher of Tempe, Ariz., Kelly Anne Fisher of San Jose, Calif., Jean Marie Bell of Fayetteville, N.C., and Nancy Ann Brooks of Boston.
Timothy M. Murtaugh of Richmond, Va., served as best man. Other groomsmen were John K. Chisholm Jr. of Brighton, Thomas P. Botts of Atlanta, Ga., Dean Drakis of Blakeslee, Pa., and Mark H. Wainwright of Seattle.
The bride graduated from Wellesley High School in 1987 and from Boston College in 1991 with a degree in Marketing and Communications.
The groom graduated from Ridley High School in Folsom, Pa., in 1987 and from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992 with bachelor of arts degrees in Political Science and History. He also holds master's degrees from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs in Public and International Affairs and Public Administration. He is a human resource manager with The Home Depot, Inc., in the states of Connecticut and New York.
Following a honeymoon to Tahiti, the couple are residing in Connecticut.
