McGrath - Hester
Jennifer L. Hester and Michael W. McGrath were married on Nov. 6, 1999, at St. Julia's Church in Weston. The Rev. Brian Mahoney of St. John's Parish in Wellesley performed the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Doubletree Guest Suites Hotel in Waltham.
The matron of honor was Carolyn Bellefeuille, and bridesmaids were Lynda Canal, Elizabeth Warren, Katherine Warren and Allison Warren, all cousins of the bride, and Erin McGrath, sister of the groom.
Jean-Marc Laverdure, cousin of the groom, served as best man. Ushers were Todd Bellefeuille, Brian Hester, brother of the bride, Gregory Laverdure and Anthony Laverdure, cousins of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Jacqueline Whetton of Wellesley and Ronald Hester of Natick. She graduated in 1989 from Wellesley High School and in 1993 from Roger Williams University. She is an assistant director of Financial Aid at Berklee College of Music.
The groom is the son of Claire McGrath of Dorchester and Michael McGrath Sr. of Roslindale. He graduated from Newman Preparatory School in 1988 and attended Roger Williams University. He is a manager at Manulife Financial in Boston.
Following a honeymoon to St. Barts and St. Martin, the couple are residing in Braintree.
