Peterson, Greever exchange vows
Susan Marie Peterson and Adam Lynn Greever were married
Friday, December 15, 2006 at Rose Hill Wedding Chapel,
Johnson City. The Rev. Scott Thompson officiated the 7 p.m. exchange
of vows.
The bride is a daughter of Harry and Celeste Peterson, Trade.
She is a granddaughter of Gertrude Van Greuningen, Mesa, Arizona;
the late Lester Van Greuningen and the late John and
Margaret Peterson.
The groom is the son of Lynn and Lisa Greever, Johnson City.
He is a grandson of Sue Pierce, Mountain City and the late Ted
Pierce; Steadman Greever, Mountain City and the late Betty
Greever.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father,
the bride wore a strapless a-line bridal gown of white chiffon
featuring a fitted bodice, a full skirt with side draping accented
with beaded metallic embroided lace that extended into a
chapel-length train.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Peterson, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaid was Ashley Boven, cousin of the groom.
Jonathan Crowe served as best man.
Groomsmen were Andy Foister and Dusty Bradley.
A reception was held at The Charles, Johnson City.
The couple took a wedding trip to Sandals Resort, St. Lucia.
