George E. Vinson, Jr. of
Decatur, Alabama. The wedding
is to take place at 3:30
p.m., September 2, 2006 at the
Northeast Church of Christ in
Kingsport.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter
of Verna Dowell, the late Lester Dowell
and the late Mr. and Mrs. B.E. Nichols of
Mountain City, Tennessee. She
graduated from Sullivan South
High School, attended Freed Hardeman
University in Henderson, Tennessee
and received a bachelor’s degree in
Physical Therapy from the University
of Tennessee in Memphis.
She is employed as a physical therapist by
Healthsouth Rehab Hospital in
Huntsville and is a member of
Mayfair Church of Christ in
Huntsville, Alabama.
The bridegroom-to-be is the
grandson of Mr. and Mrs. JC
Grissom of Spruce Pine, Alabama
and the late Mr. and Mrs.
George E. Vinson, Sr. He attended
Falls Church High
School in Falls Church, Virginia
and then served in the Alabama
Army National Guard. He is
currently employed by Hart &
Cooley in Huntsville.
