Summerall Chapel at The Citadel
Angela Dawn Taylor and Don
Cameron Rininger III were
married at The Summerall
Chapel on the campus of The
Citadel in Charleston, South
Carolina on Saturday, May 20,
2006. Angela is the daughter
of Norman and Jeannie Taylor
of Shady Valley, Tennessee and
the granddaughter of Wiley
and Evelyn Taylor and
Geraldine Snodgrass, all of
Shady Valley and the late William
Snodgrass. Don is the son
of Don and Gerry Rininger of
Waltham, Massachusetts.
The wedding was well-attended
by friends and family.
The wedding party consisted of
two flower girls, four bridesmaids,
10 groomsmen, an organist,
a bagpiper, and six Citadel
cadets who formed a sword
arch for the newly married
couple as they exited the
Chapel. Mrs. Heather Taylor
Robinson, sister of the bride,
was the matron of honor and
Don Rininger Jr., father of the
groom, served as the best man.
The officiating ministers were
Dr. Tom Peake and Dr. Dan
Little. A reception following the
ceremony was held on the top
floor of the Holiday Inn
Riverview overlooking both the
Ashley River and Charleston
harbor. After the reception, the
couple honeymooned at the
Sandal’s Beach Resort on the
island of Nassau in the Bahamas.
Angela is a 1998 graduate of
Johnson County High School
and holds a Masters in Accounting
from The University
of Tennessee at Knoxville. Angela
is a C.P.A. in Boone, North
Carolina. Her husband Don is
a graduate of The Citadel and
a former U.S. Marine Corps
Officer. Don recently earned
his Juris Doctor from Duquesne
University School of Law in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is
studying for the upcoming BAR
exam.
