David and Shelia Billings announce
the engagement and forthcoming
marriage of their daughter
Daffney Billings to
Alan T. Harris, son of Tom and
Vicki Harris of Erwin, Tennessee.
The bride-elect is a 2001
graduate of Johnson County
High School and is currently in
her final semester at East Tennessee
State University where
she is majoring in Early Childhood
Education. She is the
granddaughter of Pearl Stout of
Mountain City, and Bob and
Carla Stout also of Mountain
City. Also of Jack and Carol
Billings of Bluff City,
Tennessee.
She is the great granddaughter
of Virginia and the late Brack
Billings of Chilhowie, Virginia.
Her fiancé is a 1996 graduate
of Unicoi County High School.
He is a 2001 graduate of the
University of Tennessee, and is
currently pursuing his Doctor
of Physical Therapy at East Tennessee
State University. He is
the grandson of Wilma and the
late Lee Vance of Erwin, Tennessee,
and of Gladys and the late Frank Harris
of Erwin, Tennessee.
The couple will be married in a private ceremony
on May 6, 2006.
