Bauguess, Hampton announce engagement
Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bauguess of Mountain City announce the
engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lori
Beth, to Stephen Lawrence Hampton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Earl and Madeline Greer
of Mountain City and Herman and Della Bauguess of Pond
Mountain, North Carolina. She is the great-granddaughter of
Opal Welch and the late Claude Welch and also the late Letcher
and Emma Greer.
Lori Beth is a 2005 graduate of Bristol School of Hair Design.
She works at New Image Hair Salon in Mountain City.
The groom-to-be is the son of Helen Harless and the grandson
of Luther Gentry of Laurel Bloomery. Steve is a 1985 graduate of
Johnson County High School. He is employed by Mid Mountain
Trucking of Abingdon, Virginia.
The couple plan to be married on Friday, June 2, 2006 at 7:00
in the evening in Gatlinburg.
