Cartys celebrate 50th
wedding anniversary
Bill and Nancy Carty of Laurel
Bloomery, Tennessee celebrated
their 50th wedding anniversary.
Bill is the son of the late Asa
Carty and Hazel Blackburn Carty
of Meadowview, Virginia. Nancy
is the daughter of the late
Clarence Purcell and Minnie
Price Purcell of Castelwood,
Virginia.
The couple were honored with
a dinner party at Martha Washington
Inn by family and friends.
They have one son, Bob Carty,
and two daughters, Lois Suzanne
Jordan Carty of Rossville, Georgia;
Teresa Carty Dugger and one
son-in-law, Nick Dugger; two
grandsons, Robert Carty and
Brock Dugger, all of Chapel Hill,
Tennessee.
