Joe and Bonnie Alexander of Center have announced the engagement of their daughter, Bobbi Jo Alexander, to James Tucker.
He is the son of Dr. Mark and Ruth Tucker of Center.
The prospective bride is a 2003 graduate of Quincy Area Home Educators.
She currently attends Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis studying criminal justice and psychology.
The prospective bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Mark Twain High School.
He is a student at Washington University in St. Louis majoring in history and psychology and minoring in religious studies.
An outdoor wedding ceremony is planned for 3 p.m. May 29, at Saverton Community Church in Saverton.
A reception will follow on the church grounds.
