Travis Critten and Michelle Marlin exchanged wedding vows July 7 at Bethany Baptist Church in Peoria, Ill.
The bride is the daughter of Terry and Betty Marlin of Peoria. The groom, of Quincy, Ill., is the son of Terry and Ruthie Critten of Monroe City, Mo.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. The Rev. Gary Hutton conducted the 3 p.m. ceremony. The pianist was Crista Dillard; guitarist was Denny Dillard. Michelle Plack was soloist. Cassie Lord gave a scripture reading.
Matrons of honor were Karen Williams and Angela Heinz, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Michelle Plack, Bonnie Wiltz, Stacie Rumbold, and Meghan Pfeiffer.
Best man was Dylan Critten, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Tory Vestal, Ryan Shreve, Matt Blaine, Cory Stuehmer, and Jack Howard.
Ushers were Dave Snider, Tom Fuerst, and Travis Mullins, cousin of the bride.
Flower girls were Natalie Williams and Jaelyn Williams, nieces of the bride. Ring bearer was Noah Heinz, nephew of the bride.
The bride is a 1997 graduate of Brimfield High School in Brimfield, Ill., and a 2001 graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange College. She is a fifth-grade teacher at Baldwin North School in Quincy, Ill.
The bridegroom is a 1995 graduate of Monroe City High School in Monroe City, Mo., and a 1999 graduate of Hannibal-LaGrange College. He is employed by First Union Securities in Quincy, Ill.
