Rains - Morris Wedding

Tina Marie Rains and Raymond Kenneth "Kenny" Morris, Jr. were united in marriage at First Baptist Church in Cedar Key on April 3, 2004. Pastor Christopher Martin officiated the double ring ceremony

The bride is the daughter of J.W. and Teresa Rains of Cedar Key. The groom is the son of Kenneth and Sylvia Morris of Seffner.

The bride, escorted by her father and given in marriage by both parents, was exquisitely attired in a traditional white full-skirted gown of crystal tulle with a fitted halter bodice. French Alencon lace adorned with seed pearls embellished the bodice and skirt, gracefully flowing onto the cathedral length train. The bride also wore elbow length gloves embellished with French Alencon lace adorned with seed pearls. A pearl and rhinestone adorned tiara and cathedral length veil completed the bride's ensemble. The bride carried a cascade bouquet of white, ivory and raspberry roses accented with pearled stephanotis and lily of the valley.

The Flower Girl was Ariel Elizabeth Hilker of Gainesville. The Bride's Attendant was Anise Morris of Seffner. The Signature Mat Attendant was Magan McBryar of Plant City. Ushers were Justin Hardeson, Roy Miller and Doug Rains, all of Cedar Key.

A reception was held at the Cedar Key Lion's Club immediately following the ceremony. Highlights of the reception include the groom singing "I Cross My Heart" to his new bride, the heartfelt toast and well wishes written by the bride's father, and last, but not least, the bride dedicating her bouquet to her best friend – her mother.

The couple honeymooned in Port Antonio, Jamaica, and are now residing in Bronson.
