Mr. Day was self-employed at Day and Son Ptg., Contracter, Davenport, retiring in 2000 after 50 years.
His wife was employed by Genesis Medical Center, Davenport.
Their children and their spouses are Julie and William Ryan, Moline; Mary and Steve Watkins, Moline; Christina and William Wagchal, Davenport; Sheri Day, Davenport; Kathleen and Scott Sones, Walcott, Iowa; Marcia and Shane Day, Taylor Ridge, Ill.; and the late Roger Jr. and Michael.
They have 17 grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
