Charlie and Monica King of Monroe City have announced the engagement of their daughter, Betsie Rae King, to Bobby Betts.
He is the son of Mac and Jerry Betts of Bowling Green.
The prospective bride is a 1996 graduate of Monroe City R-1 High School and is employed as a probation and parole officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections in Lincoln County.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1991 graduate of Bowling Green High School and serves as a lieutenant for the Missouri Department of Corrections.
The wedding is planned for June 26, at Stone Hill Winery in Hermann, with a reception immediately following.
