Couple Plans For Nuptials During August
Announcement is being made of the engagement of Miss Linda Sue Netherland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Netherland of Port Clinton, to Dennis H. Rainear, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Rainear of Elysian Way.
Miss Netherland, a graduate of Port Clinton High School was graduated in 1975 from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education for the deaf and those hard of hearing.
She is employed as a teacher of hearing for children at Ridgeville Corners, Ohio.
Her fiance was graduated from East Liverpool High School.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry in 1974 from Bowling Green, from which he will receive his master's degree in chemistry in June.
He has accepted a position as a research chemist with the Dow Corning Corp. of Midland, Mich.
An August 1976 wedding is planned.
