White 50th Wedding Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Don White, Rock Island, will be on Jan. 26, 2002 at a reception to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary following a ceremony to reaffirm their marriage vows.
Friends and relatives are invited to witness the renewal of their vows at the 4 p.m. mass at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Davenport.
Friends and relatives may call at 5:30 p.m. for the reception at St. Paul’s Church parish center, Davenport.
Nancy Plantz and Mr. White were married on Jan. 26, 1952 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rock Island.
Mr. White was employed by St. Ambrose University, Davenport, retiring in 1995 after 10 years.
His wife was employed by Cox Communications, Moline, retiring in 1998 after 16 years.
Their children are David, Boonville, Ind.; Wendy Duggleby, Davenport; Michael, Evansville, Ind.; Kathleen Zabloudil, Edmond, Okla.; Nina Tisinger, Bellevue, Neb.; Donn, San Diego; and Mark and Kevin, deceased.
They have 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
