The prospective bridegroom is a 1981 graduate of Southeastern High School in Augusta, Ill., and a 1985 graduate of Culver-Stockton College in Canton.
He is a former reporter at The Quincy Herald-Whig newspaper and assignment editor at KHQA TV in Quincy, Ill.
He is currently the public relations officer at the North East Community Action Corporation (NECAC) in Bowling Green.
The wedding is planned for June 22, 2002 at the First Presbyterian Church in Louisiana.
