Frost - O'Brien Engagement
First Lt. Candice Frost, formerly of Muscatine, Iowa, daughter of Donald and Sheila Frost, Muscatine, is engaged to First Lt. William O'Brien, formerly of Kansas City, Mo., son of Joseph and Linda O'Brien, Independence, Mo.
Their grandparents are Harold Frost, Muscatine, Medard and Berneita Kalick, Wapello, Iowa; and Nina Mattucci, New York City.
The bride-elect graduated from Muscatine High School and the U.S. Military Academy, West Point, with a bachelor of science degree in political science.
She is a Military Intelligence Officer stationed at Fort Bragg, N.C., and serves in the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, as the assistant Brigade Intelligence Officer.
Her fiance graduated from Lincoln College Preparatory Academy, Kansas City, and Rockhurst College, Kansas City, with a bachelor of science degree in business administration.
He is an Infantry Officer stationed at Fort Bragg, and serves in the 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, as a Rifle Company Executive Officer.
The couple will be married at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 9, 2000 at the 82nd Airborne Division Memorial Chapel, Fort Bragg.
A reception and dance will follow the ceremony at the Radisson Prince Charles Hotel, Fayetteville, N.C.
