Brooks-Matlock Engagement
Rachel A. Brooks, San Jose, Calif., daughter of Michael and Rose Brooks, Davenport, is engaged to Adam S. Matlock, San Jose, son of James and Judith Matlock, Blue Grass, Iowa.
Their grandparents are Hazel Brooks and Jean McNabb, Davenport; and Eleanor Matlock, Indianapolis, Ind.
The bride-elect graduated from Davenport West High School and Kansas City (Kan.) Community College, , with an associate of science degree in exercise science.
She is employed by Radiate Inc., Mountain View, Calif.
Her fiance graduated from Davenport West High School and Buena Vista University, Storm Lake, Iowa, with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and finance and banking.
He is employed by Montgomery Financial Management, San Mateo, Calif.
The couple will be married at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 at St. Andrews Church, Blue Grass.
Friends and relatives are invited to the wedding and reception to follow at Jumer’s Castle Lodge, Bettendorf.
