Wessel Anniversary
Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Wessel, Moline, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Oct. 3, 1999.
Janice Svoboda and Mr. Wessel were married on Oct. 3, 1959, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Mr. Wessel was employed with the government for 32 years, the last 29 at the Rock Island Arsenal.
He retired in 1992.
His wife retired in 1989 after eight years with the Davenport Community Schools.
Their children are Jon, Madison, AL; Tim, Bethel Park, PA,; and Chris, Westerville, Ohio.
They have seven grandchildren.
