Harold "Bud" Sr. and Pearle Higman, Akron, Iowa, formerly of Sioux City, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family dinner on Sunday.

Hosts will be their children and grandchildren, Harold Jr. and Sue Higman, Akron, Justin, Jerad and Joel, David Higman, Richland, S.D., Hallie and Tyler, and Marianne and John Siefer, Sioux Falls, Jeremy and Josh.

Mr. Higman and the former Pearle Jorgensen of Wakonda, S.D., were married Aug. 24, 1940, in Kirksville, Mo.
