Arnold and Wilma Hummel, Westfield, Iowa, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 7 to 8 p.m., followed by a dance until midnight, Saturday, at St. Patrick's Hall, Akron, Iowa.
Hosts will be their children, Veronica and William Porter, Hyannis, Neb., Richard and Linda Hummel, Americusks, Kan., and Alan and Pamela Hummel, Elburn, Ill., and their eight grandchildren.
The couple have 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Hummel request no gifts.
