Limoges
Bernard and Dorothy Limoges, Evergreen Terrace Apartments, 2430 West St., will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with Mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, at Evergreen Terrace Apartments.
Hosts will be their children and spouses, Larry and Diane Limoges, Gene and Barbara (Limoges) Loreth, and Randy and Judy Limoges, all of Sioux City, Rodney and Cherie Limoges, Sioux Falls, Dale and Darlene Limoges, Granger, Iowa, Tim Limoges, South Sioux City, Scott and Patty Limoges, Salix, Iowa, and Todd Limoges, Lewisville, Texas.
The couple have 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Limoges and the former Dorothy Hebert were married Aug. 19, 1940, at St. Peters Catholic Church, Jefferson, S.D.
Mr. and Mrs. Limoges farmed at Hurley, S.D., and moved to Sioux City in 1952.
Mr. Limoges worked at Sears Farm Store, Cathedral of the Epiphany and the Sioux City Main Library.
He also worked for A.P. Idso, auctioneer, for a number of years. Mrs. Limoges is a homemaker.
