Windle
Donald and Lorraine Windle, 810 S. St. Mary's St., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. June 17, at the Council Oak Community Center.
Hosts will be their daughters and husbands, Donnette and Richard Ruzicka, Crofton, Md., Jeanette and Neal Keairns, Salix, Iowa, Sharon and Robert Nagy, Green Bay, Wis., and Karon Griffin, Sioux City.
The couple have eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mr. Windle and the former Lorraine Kent were married March 11, 1950, in Sioux City.
Mr. Windle was employed at Western States Manufacturing Co. for 48 years.
He was in sales. He retired in 1998.
Mrs. Windle was employed at Western States Manufacturing Co. for 38 years. She was in accounting.
She retired in 1999.
