Alcid and Joan Cote, Sioux City, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Elks Club.
Hosts will be their children, Mark and Jeanette Cote, Mike and Linda Tritz, Sam and Susan Pahl, Steve Cote, David and Chris Pinney, Paul Cote, Lisa Cote and Chad and Barbie Marcotte, and grandson Jason Boltz.
The couple have 21 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Cote were married Jan. 29, 1949.
Mr. Cote is retired from the City of Sioux City.
Mrs. Cote works for the Sioux City School System.
