Paula Diane Clay and Travis Wayne Gerard were united in marriage at 4 p.m. Oct. 13, 2001 by the Rev. Dorothy Reed.

Parents of the bride are John and Diane Foubester, Hannibal, and the late Ricky L. Clay, and the groom is the son of Walter and Connie Gerard, of Kinderhook, IL.

The maid of honor was Lindsey Foubester, sister of the bride. Kathy Ferrini, also sister of the bride, was the bridesmaid.

Best man was David Gerard, brother of the groom.

Troy Foubester, brother of the bride, served as the candlelighter and usher.

Flower girl was Carlie Newland, daughter of the bride.

A reception was held at the Lions Club in New London.

The bride graduated from Heartland Homeschool in 2001 and is employed by Monroe City Manor as a CNA.

The groom received a GED, and is employed in the water bottling industry.

The couple is residing in Monroe City.
