Trisha Nanette Tillis exchanged wedding vows with Jerry Anthony Bell Jr. Dec. 16, 2000 at the Sybene Independent Missionary Baptist Church. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Larry E. Tillis of Chesapeake, Ohio. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry A. Bell of Proctorville, Ohio.
The Rev. Jack R. Finch performed the ceremony.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Maid of honor was Julianne Elaine Tillis, sister of the bride.
Best men, ushers and taper lighters were Jason Bell, brother of the groom, and Ryan Johnson.
Wedding coordinator was Miss Cara Finch, assisted by James D. Finch. Guest book attendant was Pauley Stephenson.
Also assisting were Josh Schrader, Georgie Pyles and Jordan Morrison.
A reception was conducted in the fellowship hall of the church with Gail Simpson, aunt of the groom, Deborah and Chip Evans, aunt and uncle of the bride, and Miss Rachel Simpson assisting.
The bride graduated from Chesapeake High School and Ohio University with a bachelor of arts degree in biology. She is a metals analyst with EnviroData Group in Lexington, Ky.
The groom also graduated from Chesapeake High School and attended Ohio University. He is working toward a degree in graphic design at Morehead State University and is a senior sales supervisor with Best Buy, Lexington.
They reside at 3543 Tates Creek Road, Lexington.
