Cindy Lynn Stamper and William Ernest Taylor were united in marriage Oct. 7, 2000 at the Lavalette United Methodist Church. She is the daughter of Reed and Elaine Stamper of Wayne. He is the son of William and Judy Taylor of Proctorville, Ohio, and grandson of Helen Large of Rome, Ohio.
The Rev. Richard Hogg performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Phyllis Cook, pianist/organist; and Lori Bane, soloist.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Matron of honor was Tami Napier. Bridesmaids were Conitia Ferguson, aunt of the bride, Tiffany Stamper and Julie Mansour, cousins of the bride, and Candice Barker.
Best man was Danny Hayes. Groomsmen were Richard Edmunds, Mark Edmunds, David Fox and Carl Callicoat. Ushers were Matthew Stamper, brother of the bride, and Eric Taylor, brother of the groom.
Flower girls were Kayla and Tzia Ferguson, cousins of the bride.
Guest book attendant was Amy Stanley. Poem reader was Kevin Large, uncle of the groom. Wedding coordinator was Barbara Powers.
A reception was conducted in the reception hall of the church with Tina Adkins, Joann Justice, Tiffany Stamper, Jacque Stamper, Anna Frazier, Barbara Powers and Phyllis Stamper assisting.
The bride graduated from Wayne High School and Marshall University. She is employed with King’s Daughters Hospital, Ashland.
The groom, a graduate of Symmes Valley High School, is employed with the U.S. Postal Service and Kroger of Proctorville, Ohio.
They reside in Proctorville.
