Wall-Rood
Amy Elizabeth Rood and Randall David Wall were united in marriage Oct. 14, 2000 at the Highlawn United Methodist Church. She is the daughter of Ralph and Patricia Rood of Huntington. He is the son of David and Carolyn Wall of Barboursville.
Dr. John Sauvage performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Dr. Jeff Smith, organist; Mrs. Anna Smith, pianist; William Wildridge and Mrs. Leah Bryan, sister of the groom, vocalists.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Jodi Haas. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Brandie McHale, Miss Suzanne Workman, Miss Tiffany Noble and Mrs. Leslie Marchio.
Best man was Neil Bouchillon. Groomsmen were Christopher Rood, brother of the bride, David Bryan, brother-in-law of the groom, Trent Redman, Alfred Hurt, Ryan and Tanner Wall, both sons of the groom. Ushers and taper lighters were Eric Roller and Shawn Kendrick.
Flower girl was Miss Alyssa Lewis, niece of the groom.
Guest book attendant was Miss Beth Wall, sister of the groom. Program attendants were Miss Chelsea Ferguson and Miss Destiny Bryan, nieces of the groom. Wedding coordinators were Mrs. Jamie Wildridge and Mrs. Susan Clay.
A reception was conducted at the church with the Mary-Martha Ladies Circle assisting. A later reception was also conducted at the Old Stone House with Ian Patrick and Ron Mallory assisting. Music was provided by Get Vocal Entertainment.
The bride graduated from Huntington High School and Marshall University with a degree in legal assisting. She is certified through the National Association of Legal Assistants and a member of Legal Assistants of West Virginia. She is a certified legal assistant with the law office of Randall D. Wall.
The groom graduated from Marshall University with a degree in criminal justice and received a juris doctorate degree from Capitol University Law School. He is a member of the West Virginia State Bar and American Bar associations. He is also an attorney in private practice.
They reside in Huntington.
