Shari McCloud and Stephen Wiley were united in marriage Oct. 28, 2000 at the New Hope United Methodist Church, Proctorville, Ohio. She is the daughter of James M. and Joyce McCloud of Ironton. He is the son of Ireland and Joyce Wiley of Chesapeake, Ohio.
The Rev. David Schug performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Rhonda Pemberton, pianist; and Chad Pemberton and Ina Bowling, vocalists.
The bride was escorted by her father.
Matron of honor was Angela Martin Shearer. Bridesmaids were Teresa Ellis, sister of the groom, Julie Eggleston and Geni Ison, cousins of the bride, and Kathy Bowling.
Best man was Jeff Adkins. Groomsmen were Jason Ellis, brother-in-law of the groom, Lee Bias, Josh Early and Terry Ellis.
Flower girl was Madison Kerns. Ring bearer was Joseph Bowling.
Guest book attendant was Jodi Haas. Program attendant was Leslie Delawder. Wedding coordinator was Barbie Barnhart.
A reception was conducted at the Grandview Inn, South Point, Ohio, with Greg Walbright, pianist.
The bride graduated from Rock Hill High School, St. Mary’s School of Nursing, Ohio University and Marshall University. She is a nurse practitioner and employed in the coronary intensive care unit of St. Mary’s Hospital.
The groom graduated from Chesapeake High School, St. Mary’s School of Radiologic Technology and Marshall University. He is employed in the radiology and special procedures department of St. Mary’s Hospital.
They reside in Proctorville.
