Lauren Rebecca Cotner and Scott David Phelan Francis were united in marriage on Oct. 7, 2005, at 6:30 p.m. at Trinity-First United Methodist Church in El Paso, Texas. Rev. John Schwarting officiated the ceremony.
Lauren is the daughter of Dr. Mark and Patricia Cotner, of El Paso, formerly of Joplin, Mo. Scott is the son of Eugenia Francis, of Irvine, Calif., and John and Laurel Francis, of Costa Mesa, Calif.
Matron of honor was Gina Francis Walker and maid of honor was Shahla Eskandari. Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Howard and Ellen Cameron.
Best man was John Francis. Groomsmen were Tobin Walker, Zac Cotner, Thomas Jones and Ryan Murphy.
The couple honeymooned in Kapalua, Hawaii, and now reside in Dallas, Texas.
