Patton-Shepherd
Kellee Dianne Patton and Scott Spencer Shepherd were married Jan. 10, 2004, at Greenwood Baptist Church in Joplin, Mo. The Rev. Bobby Vermillion officiated.
Kellee is the daughter of Gordon and Marge Patton, Ponca City, Okla., and the granddaughter of Bill and Leona Box, Burbank, Calif.; Frances Patton and the late Joe Patton, Ponca City, Okla.
Scott is the son of Bill and Margi Shepherd, Joplin, Mo., and the grandson of Hubert and Arlene Alderman, Joplin; the late Joyce Ann Hall, Joplin; Conner and Betty Shepherd, Gravette, Ark., and the late Shirley Shepherd, Joplin.
Sarah Hagan, Bartlesville, Okla., served as maid of honor and Jill Yates, Pittsburg, Kan., served as bridesmaid. Brother of the groom Bill Shepherd, Joplin, served as best man and uncle of the groom, Jim Alderman, served as groomsman.
Hannah Patton, daughter of the bride, was flower girl. Spencer Shepherd, son of the groom was the ringbearer.
Music was provided by Vicki Ralston, Joplin. Stephanie McIver, Topeka, Kan., attended the guest book. Amanda Agee, Rockwall, Texas, cousin of the bride, was candle lighter. Ellen Patton, Santa Fe, N.M., sister of the bride, assisted her sister.
The reception immediately followed the ceremony at Greenwood Baptist Church.
The bride is a junior at MSSU and will graduate in 2005. The bride groom is a senior at MSSU and will graduate in December 2004. The couple will reside in Joplin.
