Heather Elliott and Jerod McAffrey were united in marriage Dec. 29, 2002, at The Phelps House, Carthage, Mo. Rev. Wayne Porter officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Diane Elliott, Joplin. The groom is the son of Richard and Johnie Bailey, Noel, Mo., and Ronnie and Carol McAffrey, Baxter Springs, Kan.
Jennifer Casper served as maid of honor. Honor attendant to her brother was Veronica McAffrey. Chloe and Shae Patrick served as flower girls. Ring bearers were Dylan and Chandler Coles, children of the bride.
Kendra Headrick served as vocalist and guest book attendant. Matt Dilber was usher. Assisting with the reception were Veronica McAffrey, Amanda Robinson and Lori Shields.
After a honeymoon in Las Vegas, the couple reside in Joplin.
