A reception followed at the Champion's Club.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. Douglas and Mary Holtmeier, Joplin.
Parents of the groom are Jerome Dees, Manhattan, Kan., and Diann Edmunds of Auburn, Maine.
Amber Holtmeier, the bride’s sister, was maid of honor.
Philip Dees, brother of the groom, served as best man.
The couple, both graduates of Cornell University, are presently living in the Washington DC area.
The bride is employed by the USDA-Agricultural Research Service.
The groom is a Diplomacy Fellow at the U.S. Department of State.
