Wedding – Hunter-Reiser
Jessica Lynn Hunter and Douglas Scott Reiser were married April 11, 2009, in Latrobe’s in the French Quarter at New Orleans, La. Nick Accomando of Boston, Mass., friend of the couple, was officiant for the 6:30 p.m., double-ring ceremony.
Jessica is the daughter of Linda Freshwater of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Robert Hunter of Sarasota, Fla. Douglas is the son of Amy and Gene Reiser of New Philadelphia, Ohio.
A string ensemble played during the ceremony.
The bride wore an off white, strapless designer gown with a modern silhouette. An original hairpiece made of pheasant feathers adorned her hair.
Corrin Kittel of Brooklyn, N.Y., friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Tim Reiser of Mayfield, Heights, O., brother of the groom, served as best man.
Peyton Patrick, niece of the bride, was flower girl.
The reception was held in Latrobe’s on Royal in the French Quarter, New Orleans.
Amy and Gene Reiser, parents of the groom, hosted a rehearsal dinner April 10 in The Napoleon House at New Orleans.
The newlyweds met at the College of Wooster. After living in New Orleans, they thought it would be a fun place for everyone to come and celebrate their wedding.
Jessica is a 2001 graduate of Fontbonne Hall Academy in New York City and a 2005 graduate of the College of Wooster. In 2007 she received a master’s degree in art administration from the University of New Orleans. Jessica is director of public relations at Wolfe Law Group.
Douglas is a 2000 graduate of New Philadelphia High School and a 2004 graduate of the College of Wooster. In 2007 he received his juris doctor of law from Loyala New Orleans. Douglas is a lawyer and partner at Wolfe Law in Seattle, Wash.
The couple honeymooned on the Island of Roatan, Honduras, and are residing at Seattle, Wash.
