Wedding – Reichman-Akers
Natasha Reichman and Jake Akers were married during a double-ring ceremony Oct. 25, 2008, in Park Christian Church at Dennison, Ohio. Pastor Scot Caley officiated the vows at 4:30 p.m. for which the music began at 4 p.m.
Natasha is the daughter of Randy and Holle Reichman of 2835 Roxford Church Rd. SE, Dennison, Ohio. Jake is the son of Mike and Cindy Akers of 565 Clay City Dr., Uhrichsville, Ohio, and the late Sharon K. Fitzgerald.
Danielle Reichman, cousin of the bride, and Jack Moreland, friend of the bride, were vocalists.
A single red rose was placed in the front pew in memory of the groom’s mother, the late Sharon K. Fitzgerald.
Nichole Bache of New Philadelphia, Ohio, sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Allyson White of Dennison and Laura Yoder of Hartville, Ohio, friends of the bride; Kayla Reichman of Strasburg, Ohio, cousin of the bride; Michelle Beckett of Uhrichsville, sister of the groom; and Arielle Reichman of North Canton, Ohio, sister-in-law of the bride.
Bryan Gardner of Uhrichsville, friend of the groom, served as best man. Escorts were Chris Akers of Uhrichsville and Jim Akers of New Philadelphia, brothers of the groom; Tyler Reichman of North Canton, Ohio, brother of the bride; Nathan Fisher of Hilliard, Ohio, and Nick Dunlap of Akron, Ohio, friends of the groom.
Ushers were Allen Bache of New Philadelphia, Ohio, brother-in-law of the bride; Corey Beckett of Uhrichsville, nephew of the groom; and Pat Akers of Mansfield, O., cousin of the groom.
Elizabeth Hamler of Mansfield, Ohio, cousin of the groom, was flower girl. Blake and Carson Akers of Uhrichsville, nephews of the groom, and Jacob Bache of New Philadelphia, Ohio, nephew of the bride, were ringbearers.
The reception was held in R & S Reception Hall at New Philadelphia, Ohio.
A rehearsal dinner in The Manor Restaurant at Strasburg, O., was hosted by the groom’s parents, Mike and Cindy Akers.
Natasha is a 2002 graduate of Claymont High at Uhrichsville and a 2005 graduate of Aultman School of Nursing. She is a registered nurse at Aultman Hospital medical ICU.
Jake is a 1998 graduate of Claymont High at Uhrichsville. He is a 2009 graduate of Kent State with a bachelor of arts and business management and is employed at Carolina Stairs in New Philadelphia, Ohio.
Natasha and Jake honeymooned at Riviera Maya, Mexico, at The Gran Bahia Principe Tulum Resort.
The couple are residing at 1162 Goshen Ave. SE, New Philadelphia, Ohio.
