Turner - Lorenzo
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Leon Turner of Fayetteville, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Aimee Diane Turner, to Arturo Carlos Lorenzo, son of Dr. and Mrs. Arturo Lorenzo, also of Fayetteville.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Elizabeth Turner of Shelbyville, Ind., and the late Arby Turner, and Mary Craig, also of Shelbyville, and the late Robert Craig.
She is a 1990 graduate of Fayette County High School and received a B.A. in English from Agnes Scott College.
She is employed as an English teacher in the Fayette County School System.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Dora Lorenzo of Hialeah, Fla., and the late Arturo J. Lorenzo, and Dena Woodbury of Holiday, Fla., and the late George Woodbury.
He graduated from Fayette County High School in 1990, and in 1999, received a B.S. in horticulture from Auburn University.
Beginning in the fall, he will attend the University of Georgia, working towards a Master's degree in agricultural education.
He is currently employed with Buck Jones and Associates in Grayson.
The wedding will be July 29, 2000, at Saint Andrew's Episcopal Church in Peachtree City, with a reception following at the Olde Mill Steakhouse.
Following a honeymoon in south Georgia, the couple will reside in Butts County.
