Curtis - Leonard
Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Curtis of Port Orange, Fla., formerly of Oakfield, N.Y., announce the marriage of their daughter, Melissa Lynne Curtis of Oakfield, to Allen Lowery Leonard, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michale Leonard of Fayetteville.
The wedding was April 1, 2000 at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Sam Matthews performed the ceremony.
The bride's maid of honor was Melissa Downey of Brewster, N.Y.
Bridesmaids were Kirsten Domoy, cousin of the bride, of Rochester, N.Y.; Genie Leonard, sister of the groom, of Fayetteville; Kristen Frohlich of Winter Park, Fla.; Kate LeBlanc of Winter Park, Fla.; and Alison Hancock of Boston, Mass., formerly of Peachtree City.
Best man was Mark Willis of Chapel Hill, N.C.
Groomsmen were Matthew Leonard, brother of the groom, of Statesboro; Brett Domoy, cousin of the bride, of Brewster, N.Y.; Chad Fisher of Athens; Lee Heidel of Gainesville; and Rob Adair of Norcross.
A reception at Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, followed the ceremony.
The bride is a graduate of Florida State University, and is employed as a high school science teacher and coach.
The groom is a graduate of the University of Georgia, and is a social studies teacher and coach at Fayette County High School.
Following a honeymoon cruise to the Western Caribbean, the couple is residing in Newnan.
