Wedding – Miller-Budd
Kimberly L. Miller and Brian J. Budd were married Saturday, April 25, 2009, in Trinity United Church of Christ at Wooster, Ohio. Rev. Dr. Kevan S. Franklin officiated at the 4:30 p.m. ceremony for which the music began at 4 p.m.
Kimberly is the daughter of Keith and Melanie Miller of Wooster and Lisa Gress of Shreve, Ohio. Brian is the son of Mitch and Cindy Budd of Orrville, Ohio.
Jenny Curtis of Orrville was pianist and Holly Higbee of Sierra Vista, Ariz., was violinist.
The bride wore a white satin corset gown with beaded lace appliqués, organza pick-up skirt and lace-up back with a chapel train. Her veil was cathedral-length with scattered beaded lace appliqués. She wore matching ear-rings/necklace/ring set of blue topaz, gifted by the groom, along with a blue topaz ring borrowed from Grandma Sommers. Attached to the bride’s bouquet was an angel from Grandma Miller and late Grandpa Miller’s hanky.
Samantha Balogac and Kasey Miller of Wooster, sisters of the bride, were matron of honor and maid of honor, respectively. Bridesmaids were Natalie Cerminara of Lewiston, N.Y., future sister-in-law of the groom, and Lane Conn of Wake Forest, N.C., sister-in-law of the bride.
Junior bridesmaids were Cearra and Breanna Smith of Columbus, Ohio, cousins of the bride.
Mark Budd and Scott Budd of Orrville, brothers of the groom, served as best men. Escorts were Josh Conn of Wake Forest, N.C., brother of the bride, and Steve Balogac of Wooster, brother-in-law of the bride.
Ushers were Matt Budd of Orrville, uncle of the groom; Dale Sommers of Trail, O., and Tim Smith of Columbus, uncles of the bride; and Paul Budd of Columbus, cousin of the groom.
Junior groomsman was Connor Budd of Orrville, cousin of the groom.
Morgan Contini of Orrville and Carter Nordstrom of Columbus, cousins of the groom, were flower girl and ringbearer, respectively.
The reception was held in the American Legion in Wooster.
Mitch and Cindy Budd, the groom’s parents, hosted the rehearsal dinner Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m. at the home of Ron and Melissa Contini, the groom’s uncle and aunt.
Kimberly is a 2000 graduate of Hiland High School and a 2004 graduate of Ohio Center for Broadcasting.
Brian is a 1999 graduate of Orrville High School and a 2004 graduate of Walsh University. He is a United States Border Patrol agent with the Department of Homeland Security.
The couple honeymooned in the Smoky Mountains and are residing at Detroit, Mich.
